Meet Our Team

At the Center for Youth Wellness, our team is our greatest asset. Comprised of dedicated professionals from various disciplines, our staff is passionately committed to improving the lives of children and families. Here's a closer look at some of the key members who drive our mission forward.

Dr. Emily Stanton, Founder and Executive Director

Dr. Stanton, a pediatrician with over two decades of experience, founded the Center for Youth Wellness after witnessing the profound impact of ACEs on children's health. Her pioneering vision for a holistic approach to child wellness has been the guiding force behind our center. Under her leadership, the center has grown into a nationally recognized institution for childhood wellness and adversity education.

Dr. Michael Zheng, Director of Clinical Services

Dr. Zheng is a clinical psychologist specializing in early childhood trauma. He oversees our therapy programs and leads our efforts in developing innovative treatments for children experiencing toxic stress. His commitment to evidence-based practices ensures that our interventions are both compassionate and effective.

Maria Rodriguez, Community Outreach Coordinator

Maria brings a wealth of experience in social work and community engagement to her role. She coordinates all community-based initiatives, working closely with local schools, families, and organizations to raise awareness about the importance of identifying and addressing ACEs early. Maria's efforts in building community partnerships have been instrumental in extending our reach and impact.

Aisha Thompson, Educational Program Director

Aisha, a former elementary school principal, directs our educational outreach programs. She designs and implements workshops and training sessions for educators and parents, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to support children facing adversity. Her innovative curriculum has been adopted by numerous educational institutions across the region.

James Park, Research Coordinator

James holds a Ph.D. in public health and manages our research division. He is responsible for overseeing our studies on the long-term effects of ACEs and developing new methodologies for early detection and prevention. His work ensures that our practices are grounded in the latest scientific findings and are continually evolving.

Samantha Lee, Operations Manager

Samantha ensures that the Center runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Her expertise in non-profit management helps maintain our financial health and organizational efficiency, allowing the rest of the team to focus on our core mission of helping children and families.
